I was so excited to catch this, it's not the typical images that usually come out of SeaWorld Texas, so I was very pleased. Would have been more pleased if the photo was fully focused, but even so, it was an awesome moment to catch. :D Thanks!

You are so lucky to capture this! Sakari really knew how to do it lol Most of us just see them swim by and nurse XD Though Pearl learned to nurse this way too. Really shows WHY they learn to make the taco tongue.

I was insanely happy. I think being Takara's kid you kind of have to learn so she can people watch, and you can eat. Awww, I bet it would be cute to see Pearl doing that.

What? You mean this is the reason they learn to curl their tongues?!?! No! It's because they are depressed, dang it! It's a sign they depressed! There could be no biological reason to curl their tongues!

Yeah the belugas don't really swim to nurse at least not here, they kinda float. I think it's a common thing for belugas because of where they live.

Makes sense. And I guess that's good since they give birth and stay there for awhile in those tiny back pools for awhile.

Agreed :/ Those back pools aren't big enough, they need a stadium in my opinion.
